I have big, exciting news! Over the last few months we’ve rebuilt the Sparkle Stories website using powerful new tools and frameworks that drastically improve performance and reliability.
Next week we will be migrating everyone over to this new platform. It is FAST and it is FABULOUS!
You can look forward to features like: - Our new audio player that lets you browse pages as you listen - Improvements to the way stories and collections display to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for - Simplification of our content classifications. Stories are no longer separated into Series and Collections. Now, all groups of stories are called Collections - ADDED BONUS: this new site will also help our mobile apps run more efficiently and smoothly. And next we will turn our attention to both the iOS and Android Apps, with the intention of making significant improvements
Shortly after the new site launches, you can also look forward to:
- Craft & Recipe links in the story pages
- Access to your account history
- Improved viewing on your mobile devices
- Ability to track the stories you play
Now for the, teeny, tiny downside to all these great changes: There will be a brief interruption in service on February 26th.
Here’s what you need to know:
The day of the migration (February 26th) the site will be down for a few hours. We will schedule this for the least active time on the site. We will email in advance to let you know the timeframe we anticipate loss of service.
We’re creating a packet of free stories here on the blog that you’ll be able to download and enjoy during this downtime so you can still get your daily dose of Sparkle!
We will alert you when the iOS and Android App updates are available and you can download them. Your log-in and password will remain the same, so there’s no need to do anything else.
Questions? Feel free to email us at any time: firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re happy to hear from you and appreciate your patience and understanding as we roll out these exciting changes and make your Sparkle experience even sparklier!
