Here’s How to Submit:
Submit your suggestion for Sparkle Stories podcast by emailing us two things:
- your story suggestion
- an mp3 audio recording of your introduction. See instructions below!

Instructions for Recording
What to Put in Your Podcast Introduction:
Here’s what each audio recording introduction should include:
- your name
- the name of the story, and the collection it’s from
- something about the story
- “I hope you enjoy it!”
Possible questions you could answer about the story:
- Is it your favorite story? Why?
- What do you love about this story?
- Does it feature your favorite character? Who and why?
- Did you learn something from the story? What did you learn?
Example: “Hi my name is Micah. I’ve picked the story “Snow Possums” from the Junkyard Tales All Together Now collection. I love this story because of how Mr. Flinch surprises everyone at the end! I hope you enjoy it!”

Recording Instructions
How to Record an MP3 Audio File
You are welcome to record using anything from a smartphone to a simple microphone! Here’s how:
- Choose a quiet time and place.
- If helpful, write down what you plan to say.
- Take a few deep, slow breath.
- Press record, and take a pause before you speak. In your head count to five.
- Smile and start speaking into the microphone. (Smiling will help your voice sound warm!)
- Once you are done, pause and count to five.
- Press stop.
Save the mp3 on the phone or computer, so that you can email it to us. No need to edit it! Email it to us at yourturn@sparklestories.com.
