Mika and Mukki’s Big Baby Brother
When a family of raccoons discover a lost baby bear, they take him in and care for him while looking for his mother. Days go by and then weeks and Mike and Mukki, the raccoon kits, begin to think of the little bear as their brother. "What happens if his mother returns — or he wants to join a group of bears?" asks Mukki one day. "Regardless of what happens — Matti will always be a part of our family" answers the mother raccoon, "And that will never change — nothing can change how we feel about him. He is one of us."
This is a story about the love and sense of possibility that comes from fostering and caring for a child in need.
