Our Sparkle Story
Sparkle Stories is an independent children’s media company based in Monkton, Vermont. We produce original audio stories for children, enjoyed by families around the world. Our streaming library contains over 1,500 original audio stories for children ages 3 to 9+.
Started in 2010, founders Lisabeth Sewell and David Sewell McCann birthed Sparkle Stories from a need of an alternative to conventional children’s media. Sparkle has built a community of subscribers from the U.S. to Europe and Australia.

Why Audio Only?
Our content is audio-only for a single reason: both research and experience demonstrate that audio-only offers nutritive and growthful experiences for young brains as compared to visual/screen media. We craft content that is both nourishing and delightful.
