How to Be Super: The Dragon Within (Book Four)

This twenty-story, fourth part of the How to Be Super collection focuses on Virgil Tramposo, the current incarnation of Hermes and the villain of the series.

We learn his story, where he came from, and what happened to make him the cunning, manipulative, and dishonest betrayer of the Olympians. We are also formally introduced to the many “monsters” that have lived at the edges of the stories thus far — and learn that they are not at all who we imagined them to be.

This final collection of stories answers many questions — but it also asks a few more. What does it mean to be “super”? What is a hero and what is a villain? And is it possible for the worst villain … to become the greatest hero?
