Two lion cubs grow up in a loving pride where the boy cubs become guardians and the girl cubs become hunters. A challenge comes when a boy cub wishes to be a hunter, and a girl cub wishes to be a guardian. When the two cubs meet with wise Busara, an old baboon, they realize they have three options: learn to live with the culture of their pride, try to change the culture of their pride, or lastly, join another pride — a “Humble Pride” where cubs can be who they believe themselves to be and do whatever they love.
