Storybox Playlist: Stories for Managing Halloween Sugar Overload!
Halloween sugar overload. Some people get that and some people don’t. Some families prefer to have a sugar-free Halloween while others really enjoy the excitement of receiving so many treats. Whether your family indulges in sugar or not, we here at Sparkle want to encourage your family to take a moderate stance. Indulge if you like, but also fill your bellies with lots of good whole food. Or if you never indulge in sweets, maybe try making a naturally sweetened treat to branch out a little.
The stories we’ve gathered are meant to help us recognize not only when something is too much, but also when it might be an delightful thing to share with others. Ultimately, we hope to be a reminder that Halloween is most pleasurable when the joys of friendship and community — rather than the sweets — take center stage.
