Martin & Sylvia's: Saturdays! Printable Project Page: Apple Faces

In the Martin & Sylvia: Saturdays! story “Apple Faces,” Momma shows brother and sister how to make faces out of peeled and carved apples. Each face they create is completely unique!

Would you like to make apple faces of your own? First peel your apple and then use a small knife and melon baller to cut out the face shapes. Put the apple face in the oven and ‘dehydrate’ at a very low temperature for several hours. The apple face will shrink and wrinkle until it is dried and ready!
