Bryn Huntpalmer launched "The Birth Hour" podcast in 2015. Each week she releases two podcast episodes featuring births that range from homebirths in the woman’s backyard to unexpected cesareans in the hospital, and that take place in the United States, Russia, and everywhere in between. Each episode is raw, honest, and beautiful even when the outcome of the birth may not have been what the mother had planned. The purpose is to inform listeners about birth while also providing a safe place to talk about the issues and emotions surrounding birth and motherhood. Bryn lives with her husband and two children in Austin, Texas.
