Storybox Playlist: Stories of Different Family Models
Humans are social beings. We’ve evolved to work best in communities where there are people of all ages — children, young people, adults, and elders. Everyone has a job and helps take care of the others. Many people around the world still live in family models that are geared around the small village or community. However, as times change and people explore the ability to make choices, families models have changed. You might see a mom, dad, and kids, or just a mom or just a dad with kids, or you might see grandparents with grandkids, or two moms or two dads. Whatever the way, there is no right or wrong — it’s just what works for your family.
In this playlist we have gathered five stories that show five very different family models. I hope that you feel connected to at least one of these stories and feel the joy that comes from being a family — no matter what that looks like.
