Storybox Playlist: Stories of Gratitude When Gathering Together

Thanksgiving — the time of year for gathering with your loved ones. You might cozy up for a small gathering of two or three people or throw the doors open for an enormous gathering of 20 or more.

When I was a kid, Thanksgiving usually meant just my mom and me at dinner. I often dreamed of having a huge family gathering. One year, that dream came true when six of my aunts and uncles arrived with their children and my grandparents to celebrate at our house. It was total chaos — and I loved it. But I could tell even at that age that chaos can sometimes feel overwhelming, both to little ones and grownups too. Thanksgiving comes in so many shapes and sizes! This playlist illustrates that spectrum, featuring a mix of stories that stoke our gratitude for whatever kind of gathering we may encounter.
