Election day in the United States comes on the first Tuesday of November — and up until that day, candidates for local office all the way up to President of the United States will be debating, rallying, speaking, and making a case for their candidacy. Our children watch and listen to what they say and how they behave, and many of us are not happy with the candidates’ words and actions. But, leadership does not need to look like this. There are other examples — and here are a few stories that model leadership based on compassion, empathy, courage, and possibility.

Story SpinnerDavid Sewell McCann fell in love with spinning stories in first grade – the day a storyteller came to his class and captured his mind and imagination.
