Crafting the Holidays: Paper Lanterns with Waldorfish
This season of lanterns, candles, and twinkle lights is upon us. Some of us are filling up our calendars with festivals and parties, some of us are thinking about baking and decorating, and some of us are embracing the longer nights and the allure of staying cozy at home. It’s so easy to cram our days with exciting (and fun!) activities, but we know from experience that carving out some slow time for creativity will help us thrive in the holiday season. We have a number of ideas to suggest for those sweet, quiet moments — and this is the first!
Waldorfish is sharing a craft that satisfies our urges for festivity, peace, and creativity — little decorative paper lanterns! Using paper from their wet-on-wet watercolor painting course, you can make a passel of colorful pint-sized lanterns. Use them to decorate your nature table, embellish a wrapped gift, or cover twinkling lights in a window or on a Christmas tree. So sweet and festive!

You’ll find the easy-to-follow video tutorial here (password: light), available until December 1, 2024.
