Butting Heads and Lying Down (from The Willowbee Tree Series)
Clancy and Little Ty have are not agreeing. They are both stubborn as well and this creates several stand-stills in their day. When the Willow tree takes them to the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming, they meet two equally stubborn bighorn sheep who find a creative solution to their own impasse.
Stories of Diversity "The Lemurs of Milton Park Zoo" (from the Sparkle Sleepytime Series)
"The Lemurs of Milton Park Zoo" from the Sparkle Car Audio Story Series. The Milton Park Lemurs are a curious bunch, unlike any other lemur exhibit, or even lemurs of the wild. They are a dynamic, colorful group with ever-changing behavior. It all started a very brave and curious White Tuffed Lemur named Priya, who received some simple wisdom from a visiting gecko who can change colors at will.
The Clay Pot (from The Willowbee Tree Series)
Piper is home sick from school and she doesn't like it. The day previous she did not listen to her mother or her teachers and was under-dressed for a class field trip. She got cold and wet and now has a fever. When the Willow tree takes her to the Smoky Mountains to hear an old Buzzard's story, she learns the importance of listening to one's elders.
This is Camping (from the Martin & Sylvia Series)
Its time for their annual camping and canoeing trip on Deer Lake, and Martin and Sylvia are excited to enjoy all of their camping traditions: setting up the tents, exploring the creek next to site #42, and canoeing to all their favorite spots. All goes according to plan until it becomes clear that the neighboring campers have an entirely different picture of what is fun in the woods. The whole family learns that camping means different things to different people.
Ilsa and the Mountain Gnome (from the So Many Fairies Series)
Ilsa, the dreamy girl from a small mountain-valley village, loses her way and ends up on top of a mountain. There she meets Crisp, the mountaintop gnome who is surprised to find that Ilsa can see him. She offers a gift to Crisp and he, in turn, gives her a gift that opens a door to her future.
