Each January 18th here in the US, we honor the memory of the great civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He worked tirelessly during the 1960's to bring change and create equal rights for the African American citizens of this nation. He was and still is a hero to many and for that we honor him this week with stories about civil rights.

In this playlist, we want to share stories of our Sparkle character parents and some of their hard days. Although these parents sometimes seem to dance their way through life, it's not all sunshine and rainbows for them.

The stories in this playlist are all about being with fear, knowing where it comes from, and steps for managing it in a healthy, healing way. We hope these stories help anyone in your family who is feeling fear right now.

Halloween is almost here! That means a whole lot of Sparkle magic. From tales of the Switch Witch to magic tricks and dragons, there is a story for everyone.

This week, the playlist focuses on ways to say "thank you." It's not always easy to be grateful, especially when we are feeling a very strong emotion like anger or sadness or frustration.

The stories I've gathered here all deal with boundaries: boundaries for puppies, boundaries between siblings, and boundaries between parents and children. I hope these give you all a better sense of what you need to thrive.
