Martin and Sylvia are reading a book about a farming family in the ‘olden days’ who work hard, but live well in their ‘little house’ – preparing the most delicious sounding foods! When Momma and Daddy explain that all their food was grown and raised locally, brother and sister decide to have a “Little House Day” where they eat only foods within walking distance to their house. This proves to be a creative challenge, and so they are all delighted when their farmer neighbors drop by with a special gift!
